Whether you’re still figuring out how to approach the round or you’re already deep in preparation, this meetup gives you a chance to get unstuck. Instead of searching for answers on your own, you can bring your questions into the room and leave with a clearer next step. What Is This? This event is an in-person office hours session centered on support for Gitcoin #GG23. The format is designed to be useful, conversational, and action-oriented: less like a formal presentation, and more like a focused working session where people can share context, raise blockers, and get practical guidance. Because it’s in English and held face-to-face, the event is especially well suited for people who want direct interaction rather than passive listening. You’ll have the opportunity to talk through your situation, hear what others are navigating, and benefit from collective problem-solving in the room. Expect a community-driven environment shaped by the needs of the attendees. Some people may come with very specific questions, while others may be looking for orientation, peer feedback, or a better sense of how to prepare for #GG23. The value of the session comes from that mix: focused support, shared learning, and live conversation. What to Expect This office hours session will likely revolve around the most relevant questions attendees bring into the room. That means the conversation can stay grounded in real needs instead of generic advice. If you’re dealing with uncertainty, this is the place to surface it and work through it. You can expect a format that supports a few different kinds of participation, including: Open Q&A for questions related to Gitcoin #GG23 Peer conversation with others navigating similar decisions or challenges Live problem-solving around blockers, confusion, or planning gaps Networking and community connection with people who care about the same ecosystem Informal knowledge sharing based on attendee experience and current context Because the event is tagged as community, networking, meetup, and social, it’s not only about getting answers. It’s also about being in the room with others who are engaged, motivated, and actively participating. That makes the session useful even if you arrive with only a general idea of what you need. A good way to prepare is to come with a short list of questions, topics, or decisions you want help with. Even one concrete issue can make the session more productive, and hearing how others frame their questions can often sharpen your own thinking. Why Attend The biggest reason to attend is simple: you can make faster progress when you’re not working alone. Office hours create a low-friction way to get support, sense-check your approach, and avoid spending unnecessary time stuck on questions that can be answered through conversation. Attending in person also changes the quality of the interaction. It’s easier to ask follow-up questions, have quick side conversations, and build relationships that can continue beyond the event itself. If you value context, nuance, and direct exchange, this format is especially useful. You may leave with benefits like: A clearer understanding of how to approach your Gitcoin #GG23 participation Better questions, not just more information Useful perspective from other community members New connections with people working in adjacent areas More confidence about your next step after the session This event is also valuable if you’re not looking for a polished, one-way briefing. It’s for people who want engagement, feedback, and the chance to learn in a live setting where the discussion can adapt to what matters most in the moment.
